Wanda Langley is an Educational specialist at the Alabama State Department of Education. She works in the office of Career Tech, Counseling and Guidance and Workforce Development as a specialist in Counseling.
She has also worked in Prevention and Support in the areas of counselor and state At-Risk coordinator.
Prior to working at the ALSDE, Wanda worked as an Early Childhood/Elementary teacher, Professional School Counselor in the elementary, middle and high school grade levels and as administrator.
Wanda currently serves on various committees at the state level, two of which are the Governor’s Task Force for the Jason Flatt Suicide Prevention Coalition, and on the Board of Directors for the Alabama Suicide Prevention Coalition.
She currently has over thirty years of experience working with students and parents in public education in the state of Alabama.
