I lost a personal friend to suicide in 2015-John B. McLemore.  The end of his life was featured in the S-Town podcast.  After being interviewed, I relived the loss of him.  The latest download figures are around 90 million. One thing that was different this time was that I was contacted through social media and became friends with people who not only grieved with me, but helped me heal and work through the complicated grief that came with his suicide and public scrutiny.  With encouragement from one of my new friends, Katie Beaugez, who just happened to be working with ASPARC.  I am now an advocate for suicide prevention and present QPR training for ASPARC.  I also help host the Wildflower Walk in Woodstock to inform and raise awareness for this cause.
